How did Medical Warriors Trust come to be?

Medical Warriors Trust was established in December 2020 and was born from firsthand experience of our founder, Charlotte, during the COVID 19 response April 2020 in NYC. Initially planning to work for 10 weeks earning 10k/week plus housing and meal stipends-she only lasted 6 shifts. In that short time Charlotte witnessed three things no professional nurse should ever see: patient judgement, patient endangerment, and a patient being treated like a barnyard animal. Worst yet, this happened in the labor and delivery unity. The shock of these experiences caused deep spiritual distress and revealed a broken system that focused on profit and symptom management rather than true wellness.
Realizing that the healthcare system could not be reformed from within, Charlotte knew a new approach was needed- one that prevents reversible illnesses, builds immune function, and empowers individuals to advocate for their own health.
